Why Tingalls Dzyn?
GSB had used a one-stop-shop for design and printing for 20+ years but after switching printing companies, we lost our designer and were looking for a freelance company to fill those needs. I received estimates from two great companies but Tingalls estimated our job at 20-25 hours and the other company estimated 60-75. That's a big difference!
What did you want the designs to accomplish?
We wanted to keep the quality of the work consistent while incorporating the expanded school offerings.
What was your initial reaction to the completed work?
Wow, they nailed it! I was impressed with the dedication to us and our projects from the get-go. I really felt were we important to Tingalls.
At GSB we need to have consistent purple branding so folks can tell it's GSB when it lands on their desk. We couldn't ask for any better representation of our brand than what Tingalls provides us.
How do you feel it represents your company?
I would put our pieces against anyone's. It makes you have a certain pride of ownership when you're one of the top schools in the country and we hold our marketing to that standard. I think there's an extra wow-factor when our catalogs arrive.
Upon Tingalls' suggestion, we started using spot UV in our catalog and other schools are no where near the caliber of our pieces.
How has the work affected your business? Sales? Reputation?
Our enrollment has remained consistent and even increased in tough economic times and we've decided to stay the course with our marketing. We've been around for 66 years so we have a history and credible reputation. Our continued investment in design has helped our reputation as well.
How does the work help you compete in the marketplace?
There are six graduates schools in banking in the country. We certainly have competitive differences, but the quality of our marketing materials by Tingalls has really helped set us apart.
What aspect of working with Tingalls is of most value to you?
The personal relationship. Tara values our relationship. Our issues are not swept under the rug and she drives over to see us to discuss any concerns we may have. She really values our business. The next best aspect is the quick turnaround times.
